IKU ELT Club organized an event titled "Language Teaching in Distance Education: Online Teaching during Covid-19 Pandemic" on the Adobe Connect Virtual Classroom Application on Tuesday, March 23 at 14:00. Asst. Prof. Tuncer Can, Lecturer Dr. Gökçe Kurt Tiftik and Duygu Erdoğan attended the event as speakers.

Aiming to provide English teacher candidates with the skills they need to keep up with the change brought about by distance education and even lead them, our guests also introduced the tools and methods they can use in distance education. They elaborated on the terms "Flipping the Language Classroom: What?", "Why and How?", "Integrating Technology in Foreign Language Classroom", "How to Maintain Students' Interests in Online Lessons".
